"Michael J Clark was born and raised in the county of Sussex. He attended Eastbourne College of Art from 1953 to 1955 and spent his formative years studying the flora and fauna of the Sussex Downs. A later move to South Wales enabled him to extend his knowledge by observing the wildlife of the region. Increasingly recognised as one of the UK's leading wildlife artists with his work now found as far afield as Europe, the USA and Janpan. He is the award winner of three national art competitions and the subject of a television profile.."

"Pippa Thew born in the 60's in Nairobi, Kenya, spent her early years surrounded by both wild and domestic animals. After coming to England to settle she studied "A"level art at Grammar school and began painting dogs when she purchased her first show dog sixteen years ago. She has exhibited dogs many times at Crufts and takes every opportunity to observe all breeds for the qualities of character and appearance which make each breed unique. Until Pippa's children were both full time at school, she worked purely on commissions. Since then she has begun to build up a number of breed studies for exhibition."
