The Bearded Collie is a hardy dog with a loveable temperament. He is ideally suited to a country life having a double weather-resistant coat and active nature. He is a happy dog and should be neither timid nor aggressive. The Bearded Collie should be gentle, good with children and adults making an ideal member of a fun-loving and growing family. He should be alert with a distinctive bright enquiring expression, lively, self confident and active. SIZE: HEIGHT: Dogs:53-56cm [21-22in] Bitches:51-53cm [20-21in]. The recognised colours [UK] are Slate Grey, Reddish-fawn, Black, Blue, all shades of Grey, Brown and Sandy with or without white markings. |
